Gala cord wet pebbles by balta is a hard wearing loop pile carpet that comes in an attractive flecked design made up of different shades of brown, beige and medium grey, it’s made from 100% Polypropylene making it bleach cleanable and stain resistant. Gala cord wet pebbles is available in 4m and 5m width’s. You can choose between 2 backing types – felt backing or secondary backing. Felt Backed carpets can be fitted directly to the floor with an adheisive or can also be fitted on an underlay with gripper rods, whereas secondary backed carpets are installed with an underlay with gripper rods for added durability and comfort.

This great value for money carpet is very popular with builders, letting agents and anyone looking for a short loop pile carpet which is very hard wearing and looks good at a very affordable price, its suitable for most areas of the home such as living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, offices, hallways, landings and stairs, it also comes with a 10 year wear warranty and 15 year stain warranty for complete peace of mind.

Do i require an underlay?

Carpets come in 2 main backing types so it can be fitted directly to the floor(felt backing) or installed with underlay and gripper rods(felt backing and Actionbac/Secondary backing).

On Carpets that have a choice of backing types you will be able to select a backing type directly on the product page before entering your room sizes.

How do I work out a square meter measurement?

Measure the length of the room, measure the width of the room. Then multiply these two numbers together.

Length in Meters x Width in Meters = Total Square Meters

Note: For complex room shapes, please send us a diagram so we can advise you.

How much waste should I allow when ordering flooring materials?

Carpets, Vinyl flooring and Artificial grass you should add at least 10cm to the length and width of your net measurements to allow for cutting and rooms slightly off square

For tiles and plank flooring you should allow between 10-15% on top of your Net Measurement.

Booking a Fitter

We strongly recommend only booking an installer once your flooring has been delivered, So in the unlikely event of a hiccup it can be resolved without any inconvenience.

Measurements

You can work out the quantity you require by using our flooring calculator but first you must know your room size. measure the length of the room and measure the width of the room.

Length in Meters x Width in Meters = Total Square Meters

Total Square Meters x Unit Price = Total Price

Then enter your sizes into our calculator and you will be provided with an instant price.

Note: For complex room shapes we advise using a professional or please send us a diagram via email so we can advise you.

On flooring products such as carpet tiles and vinyl tiles we have already provided you with quantities with the square meter per pack so all you need to do is select the required packs.
