Altro Classic 25 Anvil is a specialist slip resistant flooring solution for use in extra heavy traffic areas in the craft, design and technology, art rooms and circulation sectors.

A solid choice for over 60 years Classic 25 gives lasting slip resistance, while easy to clean and maintain, along with comfort underfoot. This 2.5mm thick safety flooring provides great durability and abrasion resistance so its perfect for projects where you would find wheeled traffic, It has an extra heavy commercial and heavy industrial wear classification with an expected lifetime of 25 years.

Great for use in locations where sawdust and muddy water accumulate and substances like clay, paint, chalk or dirt are present. It’s also good for areas where occasional moisture and dust can increase the risk of slipping. Classic 25 is a fully glued down installation where all joints need to be hot welded and junctions need to be sealed and should be installed by a professional.

This safety flooring should be laid in accordance with the Code of Practice BS 8203:2017 and installed by a professional. The material should be stored for approximately 24 hours at a room temperature of not below 14°C. When laying, the area should be at a steady temperature of between 14°C and 27°C for at least 48 hours prior to, during and for at least 24 hours after completion.

Altro Classic 25 Anvil safety flooring can be straight laid or used in conjunction with “sit on” or “set in” skirtings. The materials can also be self-coved. In areas that are subject to moisture spillage, the complete installation must be sealed with the use of conventional clamping or welding type drain gulleys and access covers, sealing of pipes, toilet pans, door frames etc. and the use of appropriate sealing methods between the junction of the Altro flooring and the wall covering or other floor surfaces.
